Candies of Merritt is a hand made chocolate and candy store in Guelph Ontario. The family tradition of quality confections started over 100 years ago when Steve Yurchuk opened Yurchuk Candies in Niagara. In 1972 his daughter Betty and her husband John Merritt opened their own store in Guelph. They relocated to the Speedvale Centre in 1983 and have remained there as a Guelph fixture of chocolate excellence. Today their son Bruce and his family continue making traditional chocolates and candies.
