Atlanta Fireplace Specialists was founded by Lance Blackford in 2010 after the fireplace company he worked for since 1998 went out of business. Lance is the son of two accomplished fine home builders who built houses in Atlanta for almost forty years. With a lifetime of training in construction, a commitment to integrity and quality craftsmanship, Lance has been keeping homeowners safe and warm for twenty five years. As a certified chimney sweep, Lance’s first responsibility is to keep homeowner’s safe. He is also a skilled craftsman that can assist clients in creating the fireplace of their dreams. In 2014 Ami Blackford came on as the director of first impressions. Ami takes wonderful care of our clients and makes sure our AFS family is well cared for.
